Barack and Michelle Obama are settling down in the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington, D.C. They purchased the house they’ve been leasing since they went out in January for $8.1 million.
An announcement discharged by the Obama’s representative, Kevin Lewis, stated,“Given that President and Mrs. Obama will be in Washington for at least another two and a half years, it made sense for them to buy a home rather than continuing to rent property.”
The Obamas plan to remain in the country’s capital while their more youthful girl, Sasha, completes secondary school. Maybe, their lucrative book arrangements may have helped them choose to purchase the property. They’re allegedly getting over $60 million for two potential books.
The house experienced redesign and augmentations in 2011 as indicated by a past posting on Washington Fine Properties. It highlights nine rooms and 8 1/2 washrooms.
