Harvey Weinstein ‘threatened to DESTROY James Bond star Eva Green’s career’
JAMES BOND actress Eva Green, who co-starred in Daniel Craig’s Casino Royale, saw Harvey Weinstein “threaten to destroy her career”, according to her mother.
The 37-year-old received her big break starring as Bond girl Vesper in Craig’s 007 debut, Casino Royale.
Now Green’s mother, French actress Marlene Jobert, has spoken out claiming how Hollywood movie mogul Weinstein allegedly threatened to destroy her daughter’s career and sexually harassed her between 2010 and 2011.
Speaking with Europe 1 radio in French, Jobert said: “My daughter Eva was a victim of this horrible man… he is tenacious, he insisted over the course of several months, from the moment he arrived in Paris, he would start calling her.
“She didn’t respond…she was a little bit intimidated, this guy had so much power! The power over all cinema. He stuck so many sticks in her wheels, because he was angry.”
