Taylor Swift tops Billboard chart for second week in a row… after breaking record with Reputation album sales
She broke a personal best record by selling 1.29 million copies of Reputation in the first week of it’s release last week.
And Taylor Swift has kept the success train running.
According to the music publication, she sold 256,000 more units and is the first album to hit number one on consecutive weeks since Jay Z’s 4:44.
It is also the first to spend more than a single week at number one since Rihanna’s ANTI which was released in January 2016.
And with her upcoming global arena tour, many fans wonder if she will have time to continue her burgeoning romance with British actor Joe Alwyn.
‘Their relationship is amazing, because they are both committed to making it work,’ continued the insider.
‘It’s just a very normal and respectful relationship, built on give-and-take. Joe is a gentleman and just a great guy to date.’
With Joe’s acting career taking off, the loved up duo has had to deal with scheduling conflicts already.
‘When Joe is filming, Taylor flies to see him as much as she can—most recently in Atlanta,’ the source added.
Taylor and Joe have enjoyed a low-key romance since May, only being spotted together on a handful of occasions.
Their romance is reportedly going from strength to strength, with a source saying the couple are in love and that the singer enjoys how ‘normal’ their romance is.
A source told US Weekly the Bad Blood hitmaker, 27, was truly smitten with the Mary Queen of Scots star after high-profile relationships with DJ Calvin Harris, 33, and actor Tom Hiddleston, 36.
‘They are very much in love, they have quite a low-key relationship, which Taylor likes,’ said the source/
‘It’s very normal, and no one really knows about it right now. They just work out, watch movies together and invite friends over.
‘Taylor loves to cook and bake for him. They are still taking it slow.’
Meanwhile, Taylor will be busy promoting her latest album Reputation which has made her the first artist in history to have 4 albums debut north of 1 million copies in the first week.
